Quick question - August 29th 2009, 03:19 AM

I'm on a birth control pill. Are some better than others? If so I don't think mines one of the strongest. Whatever, the point is, I'm on one and take it properly. And if I were to sleep with my boyfriend, he'd use a condom.
Realistically, is this a reliable birth control method?

mini rant: girls have to worry about getting pregnant and we're more likely to get STIs, it's not fair =( (although I don't think I have to worry about STIs too much cause we're both clean)
still not fair

The strength of your birth control pill, really has more to do with how your body reacts to your pill. aka if you bleed all month while on a low dose, you need a higher dose as I do. Most women on birth control pills are on low dose, it is just as reliable as the high dose ones. Using the pill and the condoms should be pretty good. lol.

"omg i might be pregnant!?!?!"

"ok..calm down..pee on your keyboard...nope its negative"

The pill is even more effective than a condom. So using the pill and a condom should be pretty effective.
