I like the Tampax Pearl ones, they go in so smooth and have really good absorbency.

omg i love playtex sport also. my mom tries to force the crappy tampax with the cardboard applicators on me. oh my god those things are awful. tampax pearl are ok but the playtex sport are the best

Playtex Sport also. The store brand ones with the thick cardboard applicators ARE awful....

lol holly i dont think so but good idea. and yea i have major problems with the cardboard ones. if i manage to get it in at all then i have trouble getting the tampon out of the applicator...and they hurt me
 my poor vagina doesnt need that kind of abuse  btw you guys should check out the angry vagina from the vagina monologues. its funny and she talks about tampons haha.wow that was alot of vagina for one post

I use tampax - but with plastic apps =] So much easier =]
But, after reading about the playtex and having a sesh with Google - they look WAY better! I'm still alive.

'tampax' cardboard applicator.
for a while i used cheaper 'boots' own brand cardboard applicator but i can see why they are cheaper... tampax pearl are good too although i just seem to prefer cardboard now and i have no idea why :/ |

Unfortunately I usually have no money to get my own and have to deal with whatever my mom buys which is usually crappy dollar store ones, but I loved the tampax pearl when I had a chance to try them (quarter things in the bathrooms at my highschool had them). It didn't feel like anything was there to me.

Li-lets non-applicator.
I don't like Tampax because they expand loads in length but not very much in width so they aren't as good at stopping leaks. I don't understand why they are still making them in this way whilst spending all their time and money on adding other needless extras to their tampons. I hope you can tell how much thought I've put into this

 Yep, when i do use tampons, I'm a tampax fan. EDIT: Kotex...playtex...tampax...is there a reaon why theey all sound so similar..??

I use Kotex. I tried using a "recycle friendly" kind a while back. >_< It was designed so poorly, I could feel it scrape the walls of my vagina as it went in. I am never going back to those.

I picked up a box of kotex click its (or something like that) last night because it was what was cheapest at 4 am and the box was discreet since I was with my brother when buying them so I was embarassed (he kept asking what it was though so it didn't matter..)
They're very tiny so more likely meant for on-the-go or whatever, i dunno, but they've been doing the job for me just fine sitting around the house. The packages and applicators on each of them are colored (pink, yellow, green, maybe blue too) which I think would make them seem friendlier to someone starting to use them so I like it. They're pretty comfortable too. |

I use the new kotex ones (WITH THE EPIC COMMERCIALS) and I love them because I get good absorbency PLUS the string is pink, and they click, and they are in colourful packages.

Went to Egypt though, MAN I feel so sorry for Egyptian women!! Bought a box of tampax, they were cardboard applicators, but had no taper or anything at the end. It was literally like shoving a mini loo roll up there. OWCH. And the tampons just seemed to literally fall apart, |

I use Tampax Pearl. I may try the Playtex Sport and maybe at some point those new Kotex just because they sound cool with you guys saying they come in different colors. Haha. I don't know, guess we'll see.
