My period

So today, my period came. The exact right day, but it came in the middle of the day, which is kind of odd. It usually happens in the morning for me. But anyway, my period is usually EXTREMELY heavy for at least the first day. But today, it's super light. Should I be alarmed?

Is there any reason that you feel you should be alarmed?

You don't mention how old you are or how many years you've had your period, but that sounds perfectly normal to me. My period usually starts at night, but sometimes it varies. Unless there is some information that you've left out, I wouldn't worry. And as long as it doesn't do anything really weird, like stopping and starting, or anything like that, then you seem to be fine .

Well, I'm fifteen. I've never had actual sex, but I've been fingered a few times. I just got kinda worried because my friend was telling me she knew this girl that got pregnant by her boyfriend having cum on his hand and then fingering her. I remembered that when my boyfriend and I were doing stuff, he had to get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of it, and then he came back and we continued it all. So I got kind of scared. I got my first period in the fifth grade, I'm a freshman now. It normally does srart and stop, it usually stops at night. I don't know if that's weird or not. But it's done that for like a year now.. But yeah, I'm kind of worrying because it's really light right now, and it's never usually like that the first day..

From what you've said, I really, really, really doubt that you could be pregnant. Stories about girls getting pregnant like that are usually just rumours, or possibly stories they've made up because they don't want to admit to having unsafe sex.

The reason that I asked about how long you've had your period is because when you first get it, it can be irregular. But since you've had yours for a few years, that's probably not it. And I meant starting and then stopping for a few days and then starting again; stopping at night is normal, mine does that too.

Your period can vary from month to month just based on certain things you've done. For example, if you have sex just before when your period starts, it can start a day or two early. So it's possibly that you've just done something, like exercise or anything like that, that has just made your period come a few hours later and lighter. But don't worry about it, there's nothing wrong with that.
