HORRIBLE PAIN when trying to finger.Help Please!!

I'm a virgin 16 year old girl and when I try to finger my vagina I can't because IT HURTS A LOT.I can't even stick my entire finger in my vagina,I have tried but I can't,I have been trying to finger my vagina since I was 12 years old(when I discovered masturbation) and this situation has never changed,I always feel the same HORRIBLE PAIN.
I just put my fingertip at the entrance of my vaginal opening and that's enough to make me feel a TERRIBLE PAIN,IT HURTS SO MUCH,BELIEVE ME IT HURTS A LOT!!!!and I haven't even put my full finger in it.

I have tried to finger my vagina many times but at all of these times I felt the same TERRIBLE PAIN and couldn't go further.
Most virgin girls can fully finger their vaginas and they don't feel a horrible pain,they just feel a mild pain,so I don't think that I feel a terrible pain just because I'm a virgin and I have been trying to finger my vagina since I was 12 years old,so this situation should have changed,I mean the entrance of my vaginal opening(this is the furthest I can go when I try to finger myself)should have loosen but I think it hasn't because it's always the same thing,it's always the same pain.
Curently,I gave up trying to finger my vagina.

I'm not a girl, but it occurs to me that that's not entirely normal. If I were you I would get some advice from a medical person. I don't think you should be experiencing pain just inserting you finger. I think you definitely have an exam before you try to have sex.

I would definitely say it is something that most women do not experience. This is the first time I have heard of something like this.
I would definitely advise going to a doctor and telling them your situation.

If have been trying to insert a finger in my vagina since I was 12 years old and now I'm 16 years old it should have stretched out.
Once I was about to cry after trying to masturbate...no joke.
I'm worried about when i get older because if I can't insert one finger in my vagina how will a penis penetrate it?

all girls are different when it comes to ripping the hymen. some girls can do it easily with little pain, some girls moderate pain and other girls have to hav their hymen surgerical riped so they can have sex.

No. When your horny, or turned on , your vaginal walls should relax - almost like it's inviting something in to it - as crude as that sounds.
I personally don't think that pain is normal. Do you have short fingernails? You couldn't have hurt yourself with your nails?

If the pain is seriously, that bad, I would go and see your local GP (doctor) and get checked out - you can ask for a female doctor

Lots of women have this problem. The cause could be physical but is most often psychological. See your gp. If he/she doesn't take the problem seriously then ask to see another doctor.

This kinda happens to me too when im really horney but i thought its like kind if the begining of an orgasm because isn't an orgasm the contractions of the vaginal muscles

Have you tried relaxing when inserting your finger into your vagina? Maybe you are just a little too tense and nervous. You might also want to try using lubrication. It might be painful because your vagina is a little tight and not making enough lubrication on its own (for your comfort). Also, but sure you wash your hands before you try masturbating... you don't want to put bacteria down there (it could also cause pain). There is no harm in seeing a doctor either, as others have mentioned.

I had this problem for years before I lost my virginity. For me, my cherry just had to be popped, and then anything smaller was fine. I still have a problem with anything larger than what I had my first time, but that's just because I'm naturally tight because I'm a small person. You might be the same way.
Your first time having sex will probably hurt more than you can imagine So I also recomend seeing a doctor before that happens. Maybe there's something he can do to help loosen up, before you have to go through that pain?
