Taste -
April 26th 2010, 01:18 AM
So I feel stupid for posting this, but I'm posting anyway.
![]() Basically this question is about taste. I make sure to trim and wash (wash daily) so being or feeling "fresh" isn't the problem. The problem is in taste being related to diet. My family and I aren't so well off at the moment. We haven't been grocery shopping in over a month, and my mother has been working late to the point she's been bringing fast food home almost daily. I'd say that, on average, I have it four days out of the week (the three being spent at college, I eat healthily). My boyfriend is coming out in the summer, and though I'm not sure I'll want to try receiving oral sex (I have no issues giving it), I feel even if I wanted to try it, I'd be too self-conscious based on how I've heard that if a girl's diet is bad, her taste is bad. Personally, I've tasted myself and find nothing wrong with it, but then again, it's mine. Changing my diet right now isn't really an option, so are there things, other than that, that can serve to make my taste better? Also, I used to shave my pubic hair, but when boyfriend came over, we had this constant joke about how it was a cactus jungle, and neither one of us preferred it whilst it was all prickly. I'm going to get a bikini wax, and then trim the rest, but how trimmed is too trimmed? I don't want to look silly and patchy, hah.

I agree with Sonafalich
If your worried about taste try changing what you drink that can help out a little if your food diet can not change. But just remember your taste when it comes to oral sex (this goes for everyone) isn't the best taste in the world anyways so it doesn't matter. Not to mention if you two truly care about each other and if this is the case, love each other the taste won't matter. Always remember to put your happiness first.

I've never gotten a wax before, therefore I'm not going to jump straight into a Brazillian. I hear it's painful, and I'd rather ease into it, and I'm not going to get a wax just to please my boyfriend when he's fine so long as I trim.
That being said, I will wax it all eventually. I just want to take my time getting to that point.I also agree that I'm probably overthinking. I have a tendency to do that, and especially since there's a slim chance anyway that I'm going to let him touch me below the waist... Well, I guess I'm just preparing for the possibilities, same as I want to be protected in case things get heated and we end up having sex. Again, the chances of that are slim, but it's a just in case thing. Thank you for your advice! And thank you, Ashley, that helps too! I drink a lot of juice as I hear that helps.

Haha, I loooove the feeling of being shaved.
I don't like the stubble afterwards (I've learnt to survive the itch), but the hair grosses me out. As far as waxing, it's the idea of the pain, and I head from a couple people that it caused them rashes... Eh, horror stories making me apprehensive. I guess I'll consider it. I guess I'd just rather be trimmed and neat, in the event boyfriend does go down there (with his hands or tongue ), than prickly, but... Meh. The problem is I had my eyebrows done once before and I bawled like a baby. Granted that was when I was younger, but I can't imagine getting the girly bits done without it hurting, although my pain tolerance has increased significantly since then. >_> Thank you for something other than a horror story though, lol, I am now reconsidering it. |

Hahaha, don't. I may not be a "big macho tough guy," but even with the pain tolerance I've built up, it still hurts when I pluck. I usually get them waxed, although only on special occasions. I don't mind the fact my eyebrows are "natural brows" so long as I'm not growing a unibrow or they get too bushy.

I wax myself at home using hot wax. It isn't that bad at all.
Just make sure you: 1. Trim to 1cm 2. Wash with soap/shampoo (to strip oils away) 3. do the really sensitive/dense patches in small lots. (Otherwise you pick up too much hair at once and can't rip it out.) |
