Well, I'm laying this out here. This isn't for me.. this is for my girlfriend.

You see, we have a fairly open relationship, and we talk about a lot.. including masturbation. She masturbates a lot...apparently.. 3-4 times a day. Often once right after another. Morning, night, afternoon.. etc.

As a teenage boy.. I don't even masturbate that much.

My question is.. is that a lot? For a female? I don't want her to do it so much that I am just unappealing to her. (I've read books in which this is the case. The one prefers being by herself, then being with her boyfriend/husband). I just worry that she does an unhealthy amount.

Suggestions? What should I say to her? Shuld I be worried?

Is it interfering with her life? Does she masturbate instead of eating or is she losing a significant amount of sleep because of it? And is it interfering with your sex life with her?

If not, then no, it's not an unhealthy amount. Don't worry about your girlfriend masturbating too much, unless it starts to have a negative impact on her life or your relationship. If she starts to turn to masturbation rather than to you (assuming you are at a point where you are sexual with each other), then it's a problem and you should talk to her. But if she isn't doing that (which I assume she isn't because she's been very honest with you about it), then don't stress .

I wouldn't worry. I mean, I'm a guy, but there've been days where I've masturbated atleast 8-9 times I'm sure that she's fine. Like others said, the only thing that could be unhealthy is if it is impacting her life or relationship, and it doesn't sound like it's that bad.

And try not to worry about her masturbating instead of being with you, as good as self pleasure can be, it's absolutely no substitute for actually being with someone. She's just relieving sexual tension, not replacing you.
