Are ribbed condoms less effective? - August 4th 2010, 03:59 AM

So every time I have sex I use ribbed condoms cause I can never get an orgasm with out em. However I only started using them bout 6 weeks ago and since then I have missed my period. Im really scared Im pregnant but I can't buy and pregnancy test cause I can't drive and my parents would have to take me and that wouldn't work (they don't now Im sexually active). Should I stop using ribbed condoms?

I'm pretty sure every condom has the same effectiveness, unless it breaks or was washed in the washer/dryer, etc. If it was bought new and you used it, it should have been good.
But there's always a chance, so you might want to tell your parents anyway.

Two is better than one.

Have your changed your dieting habits, are you working out more, have you been sick or stressed out? These are also causes of a missed period.. or maybe you're just off schedule for this month. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. Like Amber said, there's always a chance. If you don't get your period relatively soon I would suggest telling your parents.

I've been through hell and back and came out stronger than ever.
