Funny Period Side Effects?

I thought I'd bring some humor into the concept of a menstrual cycle! LOL

What funny side effects have you gotten from being on your period?

One time when I was on mine, I started crying to my mom because she was going to buy me a new bedspread and I said I'd miss it. I told her it was the meanest thing anyone has ever done to me... that my bedspread was the only thing I had to hold on to... LOL WTF was I thinking?

One time in math class i started crying because I had forgotten a pencil.... I never thought to ask anyone around me!

Well I don't suppose it's really that funny but last month, I just kept bursting into tears crying all the time, over my ex-girlfriend and got like insanely ridiculous about it. Looking back a few days later, I was so embarrassed over what I'd done and said because it was wayyyy over the top.

One time on my period I was at my best friend's house, and I started crying when her little sister came in and turned off the lights. I don't know why I did, I'm not even afraid of the dark, I never have been. Even as a really little girl!

I can't say that my period has actually caused any "side affects" of emotional havoc... although I did have one classical moment when I was pregnant... I started crying one night because my husband had to go back to work (after taking a few extra days off) because I would miss him.

Well, I eat like a pregnant woman. I mean, I want everything. I want cheese, and fruit, and eggs, and salt, and meat, and dessert, and even that's not enough, lol. And I have a very short fuse. One time a guy in my math class said I looked hot in my sweater (and he's a friend, so I know he was only playing), so I called him a sexist bastard. *facepalm*

Sometimes I'm really over emotional, crying at the weirdest things and getting angry at the weirdest things. Most of the time, I'm just my normal self, except maybe a little more tired than usual.
I've noticed that the heavier it is, the more moody I get.

I remember one time I was on my period during a final exam for my math class. I was working on an answer when I decided I had to use the bathroom. I started crying while sitting on the toilet because I couldn't pee and I didn't know the answer to #4 and I didn't want to get it wrong. Ooooh, exam week stress AND period. Not a good combination. xD

I can be really mean when im on my period. Like after im off it me and my friends laugh about it becuase they always know when im on it.

One time I got a detention and bawled my eyes out lol. I never cry and I dont mind detentions, just some time for me to get homework down.

when i'm on period, i'm really angry, ALL THE TIME. And sometimes, i cry for no reason, miss a stranger and act bipolar. it's not really funny but i laugh at it when i look back.

not that all of the side effects work everytime.

lolololol I remember I had to write an essay when I was on my period. I didn't know how to spell a word and even my spell-check didn't understand what I was trying to spell. I got REALLY angry and upset =)) =))

I got super emotional at any film I watched which is understandable as some were upsetting but one of them was High School Musical. It's not even upsetting!

Okay, so like the rest of you I CRY at everything when I'm on or due on. And too get really depressed and hate the world.

Actually most of my side effects happen before my period, then I'm normal once it starts.

I also get a cold at the start of EVERY period which really sucks.

Ah man, I remember one time I was really stressed and got my period and my mother brought be back ice cream.... I started sobbing uncontrollably on the floor because I wanted to eat the ice cream, but that I had no time to put it in a bowl.... ironically, I spent a good hour crying... and winded up NOT eating the ice cream.

I get stressed out at the little things, like my boyfriend going out with his friends or missing the bus by like 3 seconds or not having enough change in my pocket, and having to get my purse out of my bag! Everybody probably gets a hard time, but I do apologise after!

I take my anger out on the computer at work by threatening it...not that I've ever followed through with throwing it out the window lol!

There's also days I've been on the verge of tears because we have no chocolate or ice cream or ice lollies or whatever in the house....

I cant stand wearing jeans or trousers and just wanna be in my trackie bottoms or a loose dress all the time.

Mine are different from month to month, but I think the funniest was when my little sister was eating dinner with me, and she ate the last of the turkey and I got so upset because I couldn't eat anything else.

I usually just get cramps for the first two days, then I'm alright. As for moods, I can be a bit grumpy. But I'm like that anyway sometimes, so there's not much difference!

i dont cry my cramps make it so i cant walk all i wanna do ever is lay in bed cuddling with my boyfriend and i get moody and whiney. if something isnt going my way i act like a child. and just before my period like 3 days before i get super horny thats when my boyfriend knows im close to getting my period.

he walks on eggshells when im on it. i throw small tantrums and whine like a child when i dnt get my way.

for example. my boyfriend and i were out with my sis nd her boyfriend hiking and i started to get all pouty and childish because they weren't heading in the direction i wanted to go. i stopped and crossed my arms and whined about how i wanted to go this way but they were going that way.

I tend to get really emotional- it can be ridiculously happy or sad, but it's usually extreme anger. I pretty much scream at everyone for no reason. Or I cry when the smallest things go wrong.

Oh, and one time it was late. Like, six months or something, and I knew I couldn't be pregnant so I went to the doctor. I went home again and it had started that very day...

WHATEVER. I cried at that movie when I wasn't even close to being on my period. The end is really emotional!



As for me, I wish I could remember a specific crazy thing I did. I usually just get really mean or depressed. But one time I burst into tears whilst making out with my boyfriend. He thought he did something wrong or had bad breath or something...

But really what annoys me the most is that they last for almost 3 weeks.

People just drive me crazy so easily so I'll decide that I want to shower or something just to get away.

lol i think im one of the lucky ones. 2 days of light showers. only thing is i get extra blood thirsty each time-the urge to go out rabbit hunting etc always appears yet at other times of the month i find it boring
so beware, dont hide in the bushes near our place on those 2 days or u could end up full of pellets
