Ehhh... where's my period? O____O -
September 30th 2010, 07:47 AM
I just realised I'm about a month late. I know it's normal to miss a few days/weeks but I've been regular (give it a week at the most) since I started (since I was 13) By the way I'm 100% not pregnant, I'm a virgin

Menstrual cycles are crazy tempermental. Last month I lost a bunch of weight and my body just sort of skipped it. getting really sick or going on a sudden health kick can affect your cycle. A change in sleeping habits can do it, too. So can stress. Some peolpe say that even a change in the weather or lunar activity affects it. If you miss another one you may want to get it checked out, but for the most part, it's normal not to be normal, even if you usually are.
and if you should hear the cries and calls through the thinnest of the walls don't you get yourself so blue it's just the sound of me getting over you |

Aye, as Anonymity said, there are a whole load of things that can affect your period. Though I think the moon thing is just mysticism
![]() If you've been particularly stressed this month, or physically active maybe? Or I remember you mentioning you've been a bit ill, so that could affect it? ![]() "My one desire is for peace -- peace for everyone" |

As the others have said, SO many things affect your monthly friend
Could have been starting school (the stress/change), or a new waking up/ sleeping schedule, maybe you need to eat more, or your body is adjusting to your new exercise regime. If you have been sick, that can DEFINITELY affect your period. If you don't get it soon, it never hurts to see a doctor

I've actually had all of those things you've stated O____O lol. I've been stressed due to college, been ill, haven't been sleeping well, been a bit depressed etc.
It just confused me as I've never been this late before. ![]() |

That's just sounds loony :P couldn't resist :PBut to be serious, stress, change in physical/social enviorment, sickness, and just you being young can offset your period. I agree that you shoyuld just wait another month and wait for it. If it doesn't come for about two-three months i would get it looked at "One of the things I regret the most of being able to imagine anything,

Sometimes being stressed can throw your period out of whack.
It's happened to me where I miss a month. It's not a huge deal, after about two months without one i'd go to the doctor. =) Pansexual. Problematically Pierced. Disturbed and Depressed. And a Lost Realist. Got a question? I might just have an answer. Feel free to PM me. ![]() |
