Help: put in 2 tampons -

I'm such a spaz! I went to put in a new tampon this morning and I forgot to take the old one out before putting a new one in. I managed to pull out the new one, but I can't find the string for the old one. My parents are gone right now. What do I do?

Your best bet, and yes this will sound wrong, is try and fish out the string. the tampon will still be there, its not like it will go off into your body somewhere. If you still can't get it out, I suggest talking to your mom, and go see a doctor.

Like Brittany said, the tampon will still be there. Can you get hold of the tampon itself and try pull it out a little without the string? It might be uncomfortable but you should be able to get it out. If you're still unsuccessful, then a doctor will be able to get it out no bother!

You're just going to have to dig for it! I know it sounds silly but it needs to be done. And it'll be nicer for you if you can get it out by yourself, without having to ask for help! Try a few different positions: squatting or one leg up to try and find it.
If you don't get it, you should try to get hold of your mum and tell her as soon as possible. You might have to go to the doctors so that they can help you. But it's really important that you get it out as soon as possible! Good luck. |

I finally got it out. I took your advice and tried different positions until I found the string. Thanks, guys. Glad that's over.
