But we actually talked about using protection & birthcontrol methods now,
We saw there were other ways for birth control besides the pills & that is some foam/inserts...do those really work?? Have anyone tried them?

There are actually more forms of birth control besides the pill and spermicide. I suggest you read up on them at Planned Parenthood's website.

Using spermicide as your only form of birth control is not suggested. They are not too effective on their own.
Taken from PP:

• If women always use spermicide as directed, 15 out of 100 will become pregnant each year.
• If women don't always use spermicide as directed, 29 out of 100 will become pregnant each year.

As you can see, that's not very reliable if you can't risk having a child right now. Using spermicide along with condoms is a better way to use protection.

Here is a chart comparing birth control methods. Spermicide and FAMs are very low on the list. I'm certain you can find easier, more reliable methods that work for you.
