Remembering to Take Birthcontrol..

I can never seem to remember to take my birthcontrol but I need to take it to get periods due to having PCOS.

(PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome: a condition in which there is an imbalance of a woman's female sex hormones. This hormone imbalance may cause changes in the menstrual cycle, skin changes, small cysts in the ovaries, trouble getting pregnant, and other problems.)

Is there any tips or tricks to help me remember to take it?

Its to the point where ill take the first pill and forget after that.

Put an alarm on your phone, put the pills in a place you go often or in the morning (such as a bathroom), put a note by your bed. I also sometimes forget if I took them or not, so the best thing to do for that is do a little dance when you take them. It's hard to remember something like taking a pill, but it's easy to remember doing a silly dance.

When I was on the pill, I took the packet with me everywhere I went. This allowed for me to take it wherever I happened to be at the time. It's a good idea to take it at a decent time and to make a habit of it. You might want to take it when you're going through one of your daily routines so you can remember to take the pill. Set an alarm and have someone remind you if you'd like as an extra precaution.

I keep it in/on my bed and take it right before I sleep-- have a phone alarm too!!

An alarm on your phone or on an alarm clock, or write yourself a note on top of the packet placed somewhere you'll see it easily.

I set my alarm for 8 in the morning. I put the pills and a glass of water next to my phone so when my alarm goes off I can just take it right then and there. =]

DO NOT keep pills in a bathroom. It can effect them in a negative way because of the heat.

ahaha that is brilliant. Now, I don't tend to have that problem because mine come with a little sticker with the days of the week on it. You put it on the pack and then you just have to figure out which day it is and then you know if you took it.
