Why hasn't my period come yet??

My period is due today but it's nearly 11pm and it still hasn't arrived. (And considering daylight savings at the weekend, my body should think it's ten to twelve.)That might not sound too odd but I'm on the pill and it always comes every fourth Thursday by at least 4 o'clock in the afternoon.
I really really don't think I'm pregnant ~ obviously if it still isn't here in a few days I'll take a test, but I've thought back over the last couple of months and I really can't think of time where I could have gotten pregnant.

I know there are factors that can affect periods like stress,which I've been having a little bit of collegewise ~ but can these still apply when you're on the pill??

Also, I skipped my last period, which should have arrived on the 13th October, and began a new type of pill (switching brands.) Could this have affected it??

I've still been getting my usual PMS symptoms over the last couple of days.

Sorry, maybe a few hours late is too soon to be worried but I'm just used to being very very regular so I'm kind of looking for a bit of reassurance. :/

It's quite normal for this to happen I wouldn't worry till you're extremely late. Due to many variables your period could change and seeing its only been a few hours i wouldnt worry too much right now.

Switching pills might have affected it, if not stress or other factors. You can probably find out more in the information that came with your pill.

It's only been a few hours; you shouldn't be worrying yet.

It could be that you've switched pills, and it could take your body months to get used to it. I would read up more about the pill you've been prescribed.

Ok, it greeted me this morning!! Ugh I feel a bit silly for freaking out now, but it's never been a day late before.
