So i was always one of those people who said no sex before marriage, but the other day i was hanging out with this guy that i liked and he liked me too i guess and we just kinda had sex.. we used a condom and all, but its always been stuck in my head that if you have sex no matter what you are going to get pregnant and i know that this is not true but it still makes me parinoid, and to make things worse i just found out yesterday that he has a girlfriend! i don't know if there is much you guys can do to help me, but anything would be nice.

Hey, I'm really sorry to hear that.

As long as the condom was used properly there is virtually no chance of you getting pregnant. If you are worried I would suggest buying a pregnancy test, if for no other reason then to assure yourself that you are not pregnant.

As Maeve said, it is very unlikely that you are pregnant. & Stressing over it might cause you to miss a period & worry even more. So relax & if you're that worried, take a pregnancy test. Don't worry about being pregnant until you know for sure. It will cause a lot of unnecessary stress.

I'm sorry this happened to you, but remember sex will not always be in unfortunate circumstances.

I'm sorry that this happened. We all make mistakes. What truly matters is what we learn from those mistakes.

Honestly, if the condom was used properly, there is little to no chance of pregnancy. And, since this just happened 'the other day', you may want to wait to take a pregnancy test. Conception doesn't just happen after having sex. It takes time, and if you took a test too soon, you will end up with the wrong result. Wait two weeks or until you're meant to get your next period, and then take the test.
