so me and my boyfriend we have been having sex for awhile. weve been together for almost three years, but i seriously hate condoms. weve had unprotected sex before and honestly condoms dont feel as good to me. weve tried flavor glow in the dark thin bare skin....idk it just doesnt feel the same. I think I just dont want to feel the condom and everytime when he first goes in I can feel the condom and thats what I hate. I dont like the rubber feel on my skin...I like the skin to skin so much better. Now i dont want kids anytime soon and neither does my boyfriend, and ive tried birth control( the pill )but i would miss a couple days and my boyfriend stopped wanting to do unprotected becuz of that. im fine with going on another form of birth control, but i dont think hes comfortable anymore with the idea of having unprotected sex. HES VERY CAUTIOUS...so how can we make love where its great for both of us??

If you get another form of birth control that is very effective & it says you do not need condoms, then go with that. But condoms are a safe bet as far as protecting against STIs & pregnancy. Before going off condoms, discuss with your boyfriend what you would do if something were to happen. It's best to make sure you are both on the same page.

Condoms are the only protection against STI's, so maybe you guys should get tested befreohand just in case. But if you try going on two forms of birth control you'll be safe enough. There's a lot of information about this out there, just do your research and you'll find soemthing that suits you!! (: x

If you find you're forgetful with the pill, look into getting an IUD. They last for 5 years and you don't need to worry about it once its done.

I don't know about in the UK, but in the US - many IUD's are only available to women who have already had a child.

Don't know why - just know that I've been running into that issue with my GF...

First of all, before switching completely to a birth control method, make sure you and your boyfriend get tested for STIs. I know you two may be the only two that each other have had sex with, but infections can be spread from two virgins just from different bacteria interacting in different ways. Get tested.

Condoms are the safest form of birth control. I would really try lots of brands, try out some lubricant, and possibly try out different material other than latex before you completely swear off of then. However, if you do not feel comfortable using it, first thing I would try is setting an alarm for your pill each day so you don't have to change. The nice thing about the pill is that it is under your control. But if you really cannot work with it, I would suggest a patch or a shot before an IUD, because sometimes, unless you have had children, your body will reject an IUD. If you do not like these methods, try out an IUD. Just explore your options.

Along with getting tested, although this is probably not 100% but there are certain times of the month you are more likely to get pregnant find that out and do not do it those times.
