sexual urges and trying not to have sex until marriage!!

Lately I have felt like i need to have sex the urges are out of control i'm very horny! I was sexually abused by my dad in the past and i think that plays a factor! I'm a christian and i'm waiting to have sex until marriage what can i do to help my urges! I'm scared to ry things because i don't wanna pop my cherry! and i want to stay pure!

I don't know how you feel about masturbating and your religious beliefs, but this is what I would recommend. If you feel like you want to wait, don't feel pressured to have sex. If you don't feel like masturbating, I would suggest maybe you do some exercise. When I need to get feelings out (be it anger, horny-ness, whatever) I run and swim. It helps because you get so tired you don't have the energy to have sexual feelings. Good luck and stay true to you!

Hey, This is normal - so I just wanted to make sure you know that! And I'm glad that you have made the choice to maintain your virginity unless marriage - this is a very huge decision and is takes alot of effort to keep it!

Although I'm not able to get you tips - I will recommend that maybe if you don't insert anything into yourself (so that you don't pop your cherry), but instead maybe just trying rubbing things (which will not pop your cherry). I'm sure there are tips online that can help - but maybe just experiment - but as you said be careful since you don't want to pop your cherry.

I completely agree with Chris!

Sexual urges are completely normal. We have hormones, there isn't anything we can do about that. Those sexual urges will come and go as you grow up. There isn't anything wrong with feeling this way.

There is masturbation, which will keep you pure. It's okay to explore your body, to get out those sexual frustrations. Masturbation is also healthy for you, and God will not punish you for being curious about your body and how it works. I'd give this a shot, and see if it works for you.
