Help please! -
January 26th 2012, 08:01 PM
The other night, my boyfriend and I tried to have sex for the first time. I was plenty wet and everything but as soon as he tried to penetrate me, it hurt really bad. I thought it was just because it was my first time but he kept trying, telling me to relax and helping me through it all, but the more he tried to push in, the more it hurt. We tried it a few more times but the pain was just too much for me. We were then going to try a different position but then I looked and there was a little bit of blood on his condom. He then looked at my vagina and on the outside, at the bottom of the lips is where it was bleeding. It didn't bleed all that much thankfully but now I don't know what to do.
I'm going to try to see my gyno as soon as I can but it's hard because I'm up at college and they aren't open on the weekends. I've always been sore there and I don't know if it is a lesion or not. I have no idea what it could be. I looked and felt around it a bit and it is very sore to the touch and stings a tiny but and there also seems to be a small bump there as well, but a very very tiny one. My OBGYN hasn't noticed anything out of the ordinary when she has examined me before, then again I really haven't brought it up to her before cause it hasn't hurt like this before. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could make it better and try to help it heal or any ideas at all? My boyfriend is pretty big too so that probably didn't help either lol but...Any ideas/opinions/suggestions are welcome!! |

When you go visit your doctor, make sure you tell him/her EVERYTHING. Let nothing go unnoticed. I'm not sure what the bump could be. I couldn't just narrow it down to one thing, but since you've never had sex before, and assuming your boyfriend is free of STI's, I don't think it could be a transmitted infection. It could just be an ingrown hair. However, the bleeding was probably caused the stretching. Many woman are EXTREMELY petite down there, causing pain during sex (even if you've had sex for many years). It happens, and being wet and using lots of foreplay can help with that! For right now, just make sure you wash and clean down there properly, and try to see your OB as soon as you can.
