I'm a touchy feely person, not a lesbian

This more of a rant than anything, but its starting to bother me that so many people think I'm gay and its getting kinda annoying, I'm not gay and I'll doubt I'll ever be, nothing against gay people I just know I like boys, yet because I'm a very touchy feely person, I love my friends and I'm physical with showing my affection I practically cling to my best friend when we're out together and I get weird looks. I don't get why people don't seem to understand that I just like cuddling my friends constantly, I think people should be more touchy feeling

I know what you mean. I have straight friends that are just like that. You know who you are and that's all that matters. If people can't get that through their head oh well.

It might not the act of cuddling with your friends that these people are staring at you for. Public displays of affection (PDA) are often seen as "taboo" and aren't socially recognized or accepted. Some people think that sort of thing is best kept behind closed doors in the safety of someone's home. I know I'm this way. If I see a couple making out while waiting in line to pick up food (which I recently did, hence why I'm using it as an example), I rant about it. It's disgusting, especially done so in front of a large group of people. This is just my opinion however. Cuddling with your friends doesn't make you gay.

My friend gets called a lesbian (lmfao, how close they are!) because she held another girls hand about something... ^^' I kind of agree with the whole PDA thing, I mean, being a couple and doing couple-y things is alright, as long as their not making out... ^^'

PDA around here is normal hahaha, everyone holds hands and links arms and kiss each other etc etc.
HOWEVER I am not at all touchy feely, and I tend to shy away from hugging haha
