Post I'm worried - February 23rd 2012, 04:42 AM

So I've been having this issue for a while but it never was a problem until now. I don't really feel much of anything on most of my body including my private areas, and that has made having sex wig my boyfriend a problem. No matter what I do I can't stay erect or even finish. He says it doesn't bother him but I can tell that it does. I want to make him happy but I don't know what to do.

First of all, I would test to see if this is physical or emotional. You may think you know the answer, but instead of guessing, I would recommend put a piece of string or plastic, something that can break, loosely around your penis and go to bed. If it's broken, that means you are having normal erectile function in your sleep, and it is probably an emotional problem. If it's in tact, it is probably a physical issue and you will need to see a doctor.

Thanks for the tip I'll try it, though my reason for jumping to a physical problem is that it's not just my privates it's most of my body in general that can't feel much.

It may just be a good idea to see a doctor. Have you ever experienced a trauma, like a head trauma, that could have caused this?
