Scared I could be pregnant!

Here's my story: I started my period the 26 of October and then had sex the 6th of November. We used a condom.... About three minutes in we had to stop to go downstairs and eat. A few minutes later we came back and started again with a new condom. He never ejacualtes inside of me just as an extra precaution. When he pulled out and finished himself off I went to check the condom. The problem was that there was a tiny hole in the shaft of the first condom when I ran water in it. I am very concerned about pre cum could have escaped , however it had been days since his last ejacualation and had urinated many times in between. It's six days till my period, and the only symptom I have is back pain. I may be worrying to much... But would really appreciate some advice and opinions.

EDIT: lower back pain that doesn't feel like muscles. Very severe.

Keep in mind, back pain is a common symptom for PMS, as well.

I would say your chances are slim to none, but you could go ahead and take a test now since your period is due in under a week. Though I would advise testing the day of your expected period (unless it appears, of course), as well. It differs between brands but 6 days before is usually only around 60% accurate.

If you need to, tests from the dollar store are accurate. Just be sure you know what an evaporation line is (it will show after the time is up and it is usually gray or a faded white color). This does NOT mean you are pregnant. It's just part of how some of the tests work. To have a positive test, the line needs to be going the right way, in the right spot, and the right color.

Best wishes for the outcome you want!

So you think I should be fine?

If your back pain is a sign of you being pregnant right now, I'll eat my pants.

It was 9 days ago, you wouldn't be having symptoms yet.

So do you think I will be okay or not?

Hey,

I think you will be okay and that you are not pregnant. My best advice to you is to wait and see if your period comes. If it does not come, then you should take a pregnancy test. Also, keep in mind that you being anxious about this situation can cause your period to be late.

Take care,
Kitty.

Yes, I think you are just having a pregnancy scare. I do not think you are pregnant.

Feel free to test now, or wait until your period (as Kitty said, worrying can cause you to be late or miss it). If you don't get it when expected, take a pregnancy test. The result will be 99% accurate.

What about precome?

As you said, he hadn't ejaculated for awhile and had urinated inbetween, so it is EXTREMELY unlikely. Again, test now or wait until your expected period. If it is late or missed, test to get a 99% accurate result.

I went to the doctor yesterday and he said I had a mild case of sacroilitis. But I've read that pregnancy can cause this condition....

It's also caused by other things. Also, as someone else mentioned it had not even been 2 weeks yet, so you would very unlikely be having ANY symptoms of pregnancy, let alone back pain which usually you do not feel until the 3rd trimester (everyone is different, but majority have no back pain until the baby has grown in size).

I really do not think you are pregnant. Take a test right now if you are this worried. Then wait for your period and take another one.

I'm going to go ahead and close this thread, as I feel we are only repeating ourselves. If you find out any news and want to share, feel free to post another thread.

Hope all goes well!
