"Bruised" Nipples, a symptom? - April 30th 2009, 09:45 PM

Ok, this might sound very strange but I've never experienced this type of pain before. It's only a slight pain, but it's worse when I touch them or something rubs against them (like clothing). My breasts have been a little sore, but my nipples just feel bruised. It's horrid. Does anyone know if this is a symptom of pregnancy, or am I just being paranoid?

Before I found out I was pregnant, I noticed that my nipples were a little bit tingly and it didn't feel so great whenever something touched or rubbed against them even if it was lightly. So yeah, it could be a possible sign of pregnancy. The only way to really know, though, is to take a test. :]

I am just into my third trimester and I totally know that feeling. lol. However, although I had soreness earlier in the pregnancy, my breasts and nipples didn't start feeling "bruised" until recently. It could be normal, but its still something to ask your doctor about just to be safe.

I'm not sure. I know I'm not pregnant, but mine do that every once in a while.

my nipples get really sore in the beginning when i was pregnant. it can also sometimes be caused by the birth control you're on.

I'm in late into my 1st trimester and have the same feelings not necessarily 'bruised' but pain and irritation when articles of clothing rubbed them, especially my bra.
if it isn't a sign of pregnancy, it should be. I didn't feel that kind of pain til I was pregnant.

PM me anytime(:
