Chances of being pregnant please help

I had sex with my boyfriend 2 weeks ago (September 6th). The condom rolled down a little bit. Not even half way. I took Plan B one step 2 days after we had sex (September 8). I have been very anxious and nervous these past two weeks. I took a pregnancy test on Friday the 18th and it was negative and I took another one the day of my missed period Sunday the 20th and it was negative as well. It's now September 23 and I haven't had my period. Thoughts?

Re: Chances of being pregnant please help

Have you experienced another other stressors in your life that could cause your period to be late? Have you changed your diet or exercise regimen at all? Things like that can cause a period to be late, as well as anxiety or nervousness.

You're doing everything right. You took Plan B, you waited to take a pregnancy test, and it came up negative. I'd give it a little while longer and see if you get your period. Because you've gotten negative pregnancy tests, you're probably not pregnant and there are probably other reasons why you're not getting your period.

Don't stress out too much. If you are concerned, go to your doctor and ask for a pregnancy/blood test and tell him that you are late on your period (but only do this if it is extremely late, you don't want to waste your time).

I hope this helped. Feel free to get in touch with me for any questions or comments.

Plan B can really mess with your cycle, that could be the cause of your missing period. The negative test you got on the 20th should be accurate. If you miss this period that doesn't mean you are pregnant.

In the future you should consider using two forms of birth control, as condoms can break, come off, slip down, etc. A second form will be a good back up if the condom fails.
