No, it isn't possible and it is very unlikely that she would be showing symptoms of being pregnant one or even three days after the event.

Very unlikely. I wouldn't worry about that if I were you.

I feel that you should only be worried if your penis went close to her vagina. Should you have any thoughts about going further into intercourse with your partner, my advice is please always practice safe and protected sex.

Re: Pregnant? HELP! - September 21st 2017, 12:22 AM

The only way for a woman to get pregnant is for semen to be ejaculated into the vagina. Fingering someone when you potentially have traces of semen on your fingers is highly unlikely to lead to pregnancy, as sperm don't last long outside the body and, in addition, the amounts are probably too minuscule to lead to conception. In addition, if your partner was pregnant, she wouldn't show symptoms associated with pregnancy that quickly. It takes more than three days before the fertilized egg even implants on the uterine wall.

If you're going to be sexually active I strongly advise you use some contraception method(s) so as to cut down on the worry if something doesn't go as planned. You'll both feel a lot better and will be able to enjoy sex a lot more freely.

Considering that you have your shorts on, it is still very unlikely for pregnancy to occur. Don't worry about it.

Re: Pregnant? HELP! - September 21st 2017, 05:29 AM

there are times where a man will ejaculate inside the vagina and the woman still won't be pregnant.
women can only get pregnant like 6 days out of the month.

seriously don't worry yourself, it's all good

You can take a pregnancy test two weeks after the incident. If you take it any sooner you are unlikely to get accurate results.

Just because the internet says something is a sign of pregnancy does not mean the person is pregnant. You should never rely on the internet for things like that. If the incident occurred two weeks ago or later than I'd advise taking a pregnancy test to better ease your fears. I'd also suggest that you and your girlfriend talk about contraceptive.

No, age should not matter. If you are uncertain you could probably do a quick Google search to make certain that your country doesn't have an age restriction.

Re: Pregnant? HELP! - September 23rd 2017, 11:45 AM

I'm sorry that you are going through this. But there is no way that she is pregnant. Like said above the only way is for you to ejaculate inside of her, and since you didn't do that, she isn't pregnant.

I do not know what these symptoms could be, but she wouldn't be showing any signs right now even if she was. If you guys are really worried then I would suggest buying the test. Use it two weeks after the time you had sexual relations.

Re: Pregnant? HELP! - September 27th 2017, 12:03 PM

If it's been two weeks since the incident I advise she take a pregnancy test. Not because I necessarily believe she is pregnant but because you both seem worried and this will help relieve that worry.

If her periods have been irregular in the past... That is likely why she hasn't started now... Even if they were regular the past few months... Irregularity can cause that. I know someone that tends to be pretty irregular but occasionally she will have a few months... Maybe even as long as 6 months... Worth of what would be considered regular.

After you all take a pregnancy test it might be wise to look into contraceptive... Even something like condoms... Birth control is a tad bit more effective but if you all don't have access condoms will be fine. You should definitely invest in condoms if you two have a desire to take your relationship further.

I think it might also be a good idea for your girlfriend to go to the doctor about her irregularity. There are numerous causes for it and it might be good for her to get some help figuring out what is causing it.

Best of luck.

No, it should not. Idk what country you are in but in the usa, UK, and Canada I have never heard of anyone having to worry about their age when picking up a pregnancy test. If you are in another country... I might be able to help you determine if they have any type of age restriction for people purchasing pregnancy tests. Or, you could simply do a Google search to find out.

You should only have to take the test once. From my search I can't seem to find any definitive answers about age restrictions for tests. My assumption is that of there was a restriction it would have been one of the first things to pop up.

It is very unlikely. The at home tests are supposed to be about 99% accurate. So, there is room for you to get a false positive or something but I don't think it's something that happens all that often. If you were to get a positive you could take another one to be certain. I know most at home pregnancy kits usually come with more than one test. The brand I use has the option of five tests in a kit.

Re: Pregnant? HELP! - September 27th 2017, 03:00 PM

It usually takes upwards of four weeks before pregnancy symptoms even begin to show up. The nausea and anything else she was feeling only one day after was completely unrelated. As others have said, the chances are extremely low. Her period could be missing due to a variety of reasons, one of them being that she is a teenager. When I was 16, my periods were very irregular, and I could go months without it at times. If you need the peace of mind, you can buy a pregnancy test, and no, you don't have to be a certain age to buy one. Pregnancy tests are very rarely wrong, but just be sure you read the directions and use it properly.

A lot of teenagers have pregnancy scares when they start being intimate with someone. I think this is a good reminder to be very safe when interacting with your girlfriend. Use condoms when necessary, and she should consider talking to her mother about birth control.

And here you are living, despite it all.

The best time to use it is actually when she first goes to the bathroom in the morning, because that is when there will be the most hormones for the test to read. Read the directions to ensure accuracy.

I'm so glad that the test came back negative. Definitely consider some type of contraception next time. It helps relieve a lot of stress! I'm going to go ahead and close this since you got the result of the test.
