To those who have been pregnant... -

Before you even missed your period, did you "feel" like you were pregnant, have any idea that you were, or experience any of the signs indicating pregnancy? If so, exactly how were you feeling in the very early weeks of your pregnancy? Or was the missed period what brought to your attention that you needed a test?

I knew I was pregnant before I missed a period..(Also took a test before missing a period)
I randomly caught myself at work in the back room or on the floor touching my tummy with my hands at the weirdest times...
I started to get dizzy during work hours... Eventually started to puke...
There were a lot of things that were just different during those first few weeks..
I also had implantation bleeding which was one of the very first signs I was pregnant.

I had a period when I was pregnant the first month, but not after that. Because of this, I didn't find out til I was 7 weeks. I didn't throw up either, for the whole pregnancy but I did get nauseous when I smelt certain things. I had funny symptoms, like bleeding gums, metallic taste in the mouth and belly ache and I was really emotional, a bit like PMT but much much worse. When it got to the month when I missed my period, I already sort of guessed. I was so emotional that I cried at gameshows when the people I wanted to win lost! People say "I've put on weight and I'm getting cravings, am I pregnant"? but they don't happen for a while, usually about 3 months.

Every time I thought I "just knew I was pregnant" I wasnt. lol. The things that tipped me off before i missed my period were taking alot of random naps during the day, I was exhausted. And my boobs grew a cup size before I missed my period....That was a pretty good indicator too.
"omg i might be pregnant!?!?!"

I actually missed two periods before I realized.
Although, I am the world's MOST unobservant person, and my periods had been a little off for a while.
But I did notice that my boobs were bigger and hurt a lot, and I was very irritable. So...I knew, I just didn't want to believe it :P

I knew with my oldest living, because I vomited at work, and I never vomit and we were trying. with my twins i didn't know until I was 11 weeks and on birth control. and with my youngest I knew at three weeks four days. but we were trying and i was anxious to know.

i did know before i found out. i mean, i was aware that i had missed my period, but i've had e-regular periods my whole life so it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. but i could sense a pregnancy, i felt more homely, i could fee a certain color during the pregancy too, it's a bit strange, and i had a longing towards the father. during the time i found out we had split up and i hadn't seen him for a couple weeks, but i kept missing him and i couldn't understand why. we weren't serious at the time.
i ended up having an abortion, but the whole pregnancy did bring me and the father back together and we've been seeing each other for over a year now.

I suspected I was pregnant, but was not for sure.
I had cramping after sex, and cramping practically all the time. Atleast once a day, if not more. I felt completely .. crappy, lol. Slept a lot. Very emotional - easily annoyed. I was hard to deal with.

With my first pregnancy i had a feeling i was pregnant..but had no signs...My periods were very very irregular. and as bad as it sounds i didn't find out until i was almost 6 months pregnant and my belly started popping out. I know it's horrible.
My second pregnancy was much easier. I knew i was pregnant before i missed my period. I didn't have any signs really early since i found out when i was like 3 weeks.
A lot of women just have the feeling that they are...but sometimes it's not always true.

I bet not finding out until you were 6 months pregnant was really scary. It actually happens way too much. I have watched a documentary on TLC that shows women who didn't know until they were going in to labor. So, so scary. I am glad that you have a happy healthy little boy now.

yeah it was horrible. I could barely find a doctors office that was willing to accept me since i was so far along and didnt have any prenatal care yet. I'm glad it wasen't like that with my second pregnancy. the only good part was i didn't have to wait as long lol. i only had 3 months left. but with this one it took forever!
