My Little Man is Here!!!! -

[Edited] was born on [edited]. He weight 8 lb. 3 oz. and was 20.25 in
 I went in for my doctors appointment Friday morning and ended up being 4 cm dilated. I had the choice of going to the hospital right then and being induced or just waiting to go into active labor... so I decided I was ready to meet my son. Labor was definitely a unique experience  The contractions got pretty intense, but were barely noticeable once I got the epidural haha. The actual pushing isnt that bad... it's just the pressure of having a baby half way out of you that makes it tough lol.Motherhood has been a crazy experience so far... I've never loved some one so much in my life!! But I'm not going to lie. It's been so much harder than I expected. Breastfeeding has been a bit of a struggle... and the worrying about every little thing is exhausting. I got a total of 45 minutes of sleep last night. But I look at my son and I feel ok again Dan has been the best. I don't know what I'd do without him. He' stayed calm and talked me thru the moments I didn't think I was going to make it thru. I love him so much

Congratulations!
Breastfeeding gets SO much easier. And so do the nights... I've only been a mommy for 3 1/2 weeks, but I've already noticed him getting a better sleep pattern through the night. He doesn't, by any means, sleep all the way through the night, but he wakes up at about the same times every night. We're on a schedule now, I guess you'd say. I'm sure you're doing a great job. Glad to hear that everything went well.
