My poor baby :( - January 30th 2010, 03:48 AM

hey there for those of you who have followed my story you know I have a son who is a little under 2 months old for those of you who haven't well now you do..
I'm kinda here to give an update.
Just wish I had a better one to give you.
so I know how most mothers believe their child is developing faster than most children their age, but Aiden truly was/is. Even his doctors say so.
On the 22nd I had just laid aiden on my bed in the center, he was only 7 weeks how was I to know he could roll all the way over. In the minute that it took me to make my way down there stairs, Aiden did just that, rolled completely over and onto a hard wood floor about only a two foot drop... My mother who was just outside the door( her being the only reason I left him unattended) came to his rescue and found him in the fetal position, not moving. I ran up the stairs as fast as my little legs would let me. After blowing his face and waking him from his stunned like state he immediately started with a scream that could break a million hearts one I had never heard before, I respond by running him straight to the er, 3 nights in te hospital. An bulance ride 50 miles to the nearest childrens hospital. 2 cat scans. And 1 full body x-Ray later we found out he has a small skull fracture but will be okay. They starved him for 15 hrs. To run all those tests, it was the longest 4 days of my life. He's still the same old Aiden we know Nd love but I haven't eaten much or slept At all since, I can't forgive myself for what hAppened to my little boy. I've got people All over my town calling me a child abuser And a bad mother, I even have a pending case with childrens services because someone claimed I pushed him off the bed! How can I ever overcome this!

accidents happen! its ok! the cps thing will blow over when they see that there is nothing to back it. Calm down, trust me I know how hard it is to have a long stay in the hospital with your child, but it does get better

"omg i might be pregnant!?!?!"

"ok..calm down..pee on your keyboard...nope its negative"

Yes accidents happen...
My son fell off my bed right after his 1st birthday and broke his arm. Completely snapped the elbow growth plate off... Ended up needing 2 pins, and a cast... (And we were on the bed with him when it happened)
The looks you get are awful, and don't help the situation.. Best thing you can do is just ignore those accusing you and get on with your life. Know that you did nothing wrong, it just happened. Now it's time to move on and help baby recover/make sure he isn't alone on the bed again.

It could have happened to anyone, seeing as he was only 7 weeks old. Who expects a baby to roll over at 7 weeks? It will be ok, things will blow over as someone else said. Do not beat yourself up about it.

I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. It is not your fault at all! Babies typically don't roll over until about four months, so that is so early. You would not have ever thought he would do that. Nobody would! He's okay and you know what truly happened. That is all that matters.

There is always hope. PM me anytime.

as everyone else has said accidents happen, and it doesnt make you a bad mother.
Social will see this, and see there no truth in the allegations that you pushed him.
Try not to let other people get to you, its none of there business... your concern here shows your a good mother, and you know yourself that you are! thats all that matters!

best of luck to you.
