How long after giving birth did you get you period? Does it go back to the same routine as before you were pregnant?

My kid sister breast fed... she wasn't on the pill or anything, 4 weeks later she got her period, and she was regualar after that.

The breastfeeding = no period sounds a bit far fetched tbh.

I had my first period about 2 months after having my son.

You can definitely go awhile without a period if you are breastfeeding... some women just don't ovulate while breastfeeding. And... some women do. It just depends.

I breastfed for the first two months, but got my period at about 3 months post-partum. They're a little off, but only by about a day or so. Nothing major.
