I keep having dreams - February 9th 2010, 05:33 PM

I just really wanted to get this out. I've been having a lot of dreams lately where I have just had a baby. I guess it's because I really want one... and in every dream it's always a boy... and it looks like me and my boyfriend. He looks so beautiful. I can't seem to get it off my mind.

Like a diet of the mind, I just choose not to indulge certain appetites; like my appetite for patterns; perhaps my appetite to imagine and to dream. - A Beautiful Mind

I met Steven October 3rd, 2008. We've been practically inseperable ever since. ♥

I have had a ton of pregnancy dreams, or dreams where I am giving birth, or even have a kid. It is a natural part of being a woman so of course it is going to show up in your dreams. I know it can be a really weird thing to dream about, and it can really create some mixed emotions. But just know that you are not alone, and I am sure there are many others out there that dream of the same thing.

I've had a ton of dreams like this, not just about babies, but just wonderful things in general. In the dream it feels so real, and you just want that feeling back

Going through labor and delivery, although painful, was the best experience of my life. The feeling I had when first feeling my son was indescribable. With that said, raising a baby after those first couple of days is hard. It can't even be compared to babysitting or helping raising siblings... as much as you love them, they are exhausting and time consuming. Daydreaming about it is fun, I did all the time But don't let the dreams convince you its time to start a family if you really don't think you are ready.

When reality is a prison, your mind can set you free.

its completely natural, I find women especially (gotta love that maternal spark) have dreams about their future children, it can start fairly early in pubescent years, you're still young, give it time
