How long after becoming pregnant do signs (symptoms?) start to show usually? Like nausea/morning sickness etc. My and my boyfriend were messing around last week and we didn't actually have sex but I guess you would say he got his penis near my 'area' and then a few days later i was feeling kinda sick, like not a usual sick feeling that I couldn't figure out where it came from. :S I'm thinking its higly unlikely that I'm pregnant but I just thought I'd check on how long it takes for symptoms to show after becoming pregnant for general knowledge as well.

It takes around 2 weeks or so for symptoms to show up. I do not think your pregnant.

Mine didn't start until 8 weeks or so. First I got extremely dizzy for a couple days, had sore breasts, and everything smelled really strong. Then shortly after that the nausea started. I didn't even think I was pregnant until I skipped a period... I waited a couple weeks for it to start (it never did obviously lol), then took a test. I knew I was pregnant for a couple weeks before I started feeling pregnant.

Everyone differs on when the symptoms start. My hubby and I only found out I was pregnant because at four weeks pregnant, I was so sick I ended up in the ER severely dehydrated. I've heard everything from 2-3 weeks to pregnancies that never have typical, noticeable symptoms, especially in the first trimester.

I wasn't really worried about the being pregnant part but it just made me wonder about when the signs show. Thanks again.
