Baby Slings -
February 20th 2010, 02:17 AM
I've been keeping my eyes open for a nice baby sling, does anyone have any recomendations? I'd perfer one that doesn't break the bank, something under $100. I found these ones that I really like because they're simple and not bulky.

Hey there! I babysit for a lot of families, and one of them is the "attached" parenting type. They believe in the co-sleeping, extended breastfeeding, baby wearing, and cloth diaper things, and I know they're very knowledgeable in all of that! Here is the brand sling that the Mom uses and loves! They're a little more than $100, but she uses hers constantly, so it's gotta be good.

Id say the one you found is fine.
I never got one for my son because he was already attached to me for most of the day as Im a stay at home mom. .:6:21 a.m.:. .:12-01-2007:. .:Logan Jacob:. My Everything I support Project Linus! I've seen the ring ones before but I've always wondered about how strong they are, my main reason for a sling is I'm ALWAYS on the go and I think alot of times it would be easier to sling the baby to me than to walk around with its car seat carrier or with a stroller.

Maybe... but just remember...
The baby will be sleeping most of its first few months.. so you'll have to wake him/her up to take em out of the car seat and put em into the sling. Then if he/she falls asleep while walking around you have to wake em again to put them back in the car seat.
