Anyone else? - March 19th 2010, 03:18 AM

Alright, so my boyfriend and I had sex mid-January and late-Febuary I didn't get my period. I took a test, it was positive, went to the clinic a week later and had a negative test. They termed it a "chemical pregnancy" basically saying I miscarried the baby probably at about 4.5 weeks along. The thing is, we had sex Valentine's Day weekend and my period was due the 14th. The pregnancy was obviously from us having sex in January (as I was 4.5 weeks along), however now that I'm overdue for my period this month, I'm a little concerned. I really don't think I'm pregnant, I think my period is just late because I've been stressed and depressed over losing the baby, and the fact that I did have a miscarriage. My PMS symptoms are so terrible though. Cramps like I've never had them before, my breasts are so tender and sore, I don't feel well, I'm constipated, I keep having to pee, its terrible. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had something similar to this after a miscarriage or if anyone knows how long until my period should return to normal, because this is NOT normal for me- my period is usually an easy thing and this is terrible!

You might want to take another pregnancy test. You are always super fertile after a miscarriage. I did have a miscarriage before I had my son and my symptoms went away pretty quickly, as for my period, I can't really comment on that one because our situations are different and I had two D&Cs and was almost three months along when I miscarried

"omg i might be pregnant!?!?!"

"ok..calm down..pee on your keyboard...nope its negative"
