When's the usual time for pregnancy symptoms? - July 6th 2010, 12:22 AM

Hi...

I posted before about maybe being pregnant...I was wondering what the first simptoms might be? And would my abdomen be harder than usual? Because when I press down on it... its harder than normal, but not hard-hard... if that makes sense.

If you think you may be pregnant I wouldn't push down on your abdomen. Leave that to the doctors who know what they're looking for.

As far as symptoms..
dizzyness
vomiting
frequent urination
nausea
heart burn
sleeping more
food cravings/eating more
sore boobs/tender boobs
Missed period or implantation bleeding

If you are not yet or just showing signs of the first trimester, and your tummy is hard, I doubt it's pregnancy.

Maybe bloating.

But as Amy said, check with your doctor, or at least take a pregnancy test. Anyone can buy them. Do it there in the store if you must.

Best of luck.

So you have gray hair and you're only 26

that's just another reason I love you...

Could sleeping less be a possible symptom?

Sleeping less, or just being more tired?

Either or can be symptoms as well. You sleep less because of the changes in your body and the uncomfortable soreness, frequent urination, etc.

Also, if you're supposed to be beginning your next menstrual cycle, you may start to spot blood. Or you may have your "period" but it will be lighter or shorter than normal. By that time, take a pregnancy test, because it either means you are pregnant, or something is wrong.

Its somewhat Insomnia. I usually go to bed at 10pm but don't fall asleep until around 1am. Even then, if anything wakes me i'm up for good even if I am tired. Its been about 49 days since my last period.

If you've already missed a period then take a test.
Sleep issues could be a sign, some women do have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep while pregnant.
But the best way to know, is to test.
