Hi.
I have been having weird stuff going on lately I wanted to know some opinions what it could mean. First off my boobs HURT! Really bad. I cant even wear a bra. My boobs are really swelled too. Even if my boobs didnt hurt so bad they wouldnt even fit in my bras. My nipples are always hard and a little droopy too. I also have been super hungry 24/7. And a pee constantly even if I dont eat or drink. I have been having really bad head aches on and off for about a month now too. I also have really bad heartburn. I know, I'm a mess. And to top it off I havent had a period since december. I have done too many at home pregnancy tests and the doctor even checked if I was pregnant but that has been a few months now. So I was wondering if I could have recently gotten pregnant or if there was something else going on. Is there a way to tell if Im pregnant without wasting more money on at home pregnancy test? Thanks ![]() |

Unfortunately you can't tell by symptoms alone... some people get hit with them right away while others don't get any (I didn't get ANY pregnancy symptoms) My suggestion would be a pregnancy test, if it comes back negative I say get into your doctor and get some blood tests, whatever is going on with you its not right and it could be caused by your birthcontrol or something else.

If you think you're pregnant take a test and find out. If it comes back negative then you need to see a doctor and find out why you haven't had a period since december

I would have to agree with Amy. Take a home pregnancy test, and see a doctor to see why you haven't had a period since December.
Best of luck, |

Like the posters above have said, you can't know for sure unless you take a pregnancy test. I encourage you to take one.

If you don't have a primary doctor, I'd recommend making an appointment at a Planned Parenthood (make sure it's a legit clinic and not a fake one) as they usually have sliding fees. Do you have a history of thyroid disorder in your family? Being hungry a lot and light or absent periods are a common sign of thyroid issues.
The really only way to tell if you are pregnant without testing is to wait till the baby comes out and that's not really an option. Plus sometimes there are cases of false pregnancies where a woman wants a kid so bad that the body reacts like it is pregnant, but those are very rare now with chemical tests. It is possible that early on the hormone levels would be low or the tests were bad, but a blood test by the doctor would usually determine if you were pregnant. |

Whatever it is, somthing is definently not normal. I'd go see a doctor. They can check if you're pregnant, and if you're not, they can figure out what's wrong.
