Well, emergency contraception is not 100% effective. So yes, it is possible that you could be pregnant. However, I don't think that you are. Some girls do spot when they are pregnant, but it wouldn't be five days of bleeding, it would just be a little bit.
Emergency contraception really messes with your system. The "period" that you had was most likely caused by the large amounts of hormones in emergency contraception. It's possible that the abdominal pain you are having now is just your regular period coming. You could take a pregnancy test if you are really concerned, but you could also just wait a week or two and see if you have your period. Good luck! Dreaming about the day When you wake up and find That what you're looking for Has been here the whole time. |

The plan b pill is a pill that keeps the egg from dropping. It is 90% effective in the first 24 hours, 80% effective within the first 48 hours and 70% effective within the first 72 hours. After that though, it is hard to say how effective it will be. It's not likely AT ALL to work after 3 weeks.
I would speak to a doctor. They can do a urine/blood test and tell you if you are. Remember you do have options. If you can't see a doctor buy a pregnancy test. The dollar store tests DO still work. You can buy them at any age! (I am in California too). After 3 weeks you will be able to tell with a pregnancy test, if you are pregnant. |
