Birth control: could I be pregnant?

So on normal days, my hormonal pills (I guess that's what they're called?) are orange. My sugar pills for my period week are white.
In the beginning of the month, there were three days I forgot to take the hormonal pill. It was the first sunday, saturday, and friday of that cycle.
I was supposed to get my period this passed sunday night, but my boyfriends going away this week so we wanted a um..hmm, goodbye sex day? So I decided to take the three pills sunday, monday, and tuesday
Yesterday, wednesday, we had sex and I started my sugar pills last night.
I told my friend about this and she seemed to be getting nervous for me

I took my wednesday sugar pill rather than starting on the sunday sugar pill.

Should I be worried? And should I have automatically started my period last night since I was holding off, or will I be due to get it while taking the remaining sugar pills?

I hope I explained this clearly. I'm rather terrible at explaining things. If you need anything cleared up, just let me know! :)

Thanks in advance!

Re: Birth control: could I be pregnant?

Every pill I have ever used always said if you missed three days of hormonal pills you have to start a new pack and start over. I’m surprised that taking three pills at once didn’t make you sick to your stomach. Honestly, there is no way in knowing how effective they are going to be, seeing as it’s normally recommended that you do not take more then two pills at once. And even the instructions say if you miss even one pill to use back up protection just incase for a couple days. Anytime you mess up the order in which you take your pills it can easily throw off your period. If you don’t get your period in the next two weeks then I recommend taking a pregnancy test, but there really isn’t much you can do now about it. Just make sure in the future you follow you take your pills in the proper amount of time; it can really mess with your bodies hormone levels and can even make some girls feel ill. And, if in the future you miss some days, or even a day, its always best to use back up protection.

I think you should be a little worried, but then again your period probably didn't come on due to stress. But there is a such thing as the morning after pill. But i think you should try to find out, ask your doctor about it.
