Announcing.... -

The birth of my niece, Shelby Jeans Niersbach! Born at 2:38AM weighing in at 5lbs and 15.5oz! She's gorgeous, beautiful, amazing...not to mention REALLY loud.
So, here's the story. My sister was having contractions about 5 minutes apart, but her doctor told her not to come in until the contractions were consistent for two hours. We realized that it was time to go SO my mom, sister and brother in law left for the hospital at about 1:30 this morning. An hour later, I get THE text message. However, it wasn't the one I was expected. My sister had to undergo an emergency C-section because Shelby was in distress. Her heart rate had lowered significantly, and by the time I had woken up my grandmother, Shelby had entered the world...all in under two minutes! My grandma and I rushed up to the hospital, even though we didn't know if we could see my sister or the baby! But, we could! Shelby had to be put on oxygen because her transition from the internal world to the external world didn't go as planned, and she had no idea what to do! However, by the time I got to see her from the viewing window, they were weening her off of it! I'm off to bed so I can go back to the hospital tomorrow and officially greet my niece! I'll post pictures while I can!
