sorry if the title offends
but i was just wondering
last year, my sisters school had this choice, where you could choose not to speak the whole day
in like memory i guess and respect of all the people who were afraid to speak out about their sexuality
and all those who did, and were bullied, some even killed
im pretty sure this is actually a world wide/ country wide thing
and her school fully supports it

i think it was called something like national dont speak day...wait...no...hmm

anyone know when that is this year?

I remember last year I didn't find out until AFTER the day. Which made me mad. But I really want to participate this year. It would be pretty peachy if someone knew when it was!

Though there is a national coming out day, which is the October 11, 2008. This year, most of my friends just changed their status to '<their name> is <their sexuality if not straight, if straight 'ally'>' So if I had done it, it'd have been 'Tegan is queer'. That was pretty cool. But I have a lot of LGBTQUA+ friends, so there were a lot of such statuses, so it was a powerful picture lol.
