Dating!

Okay Here it goes! Well i have finally come to terms that i am bi and have wanted to start dating girls for a while now and let me tell you i have never ever dated a girl.(obvisouly only boys) The problem is is that i live in a small little southern town where when u say the word gay they freak out and start throwing the bible at you! (not literally!) but i was wondering were the best place would be to go to meet girls and even boys just to talk!?

If someone could tell me a great place where bi, gay, lesbians, go online that would be great! lol

And Hopefully this made sense because i am a horrible typer! lol

You should really try to just continue dating guys, don't disobey your parents, as legally you have to abide by their rules (unless they are illegal rules). As I assume your parents are a part of the town they would discourage such behavior, and as such I think you should just stick with dating boys.

To the OP: Well, the beauty of the internet is that there are literally countless sites where you can meet and talk to other homosexual and bi individuals. I don't happen to know any, but I just wanted to let you know they're out there .

I happen to know that as I study law as well .
The problem is that, realistically, you can't ask a teen to see things like that. This isn't a legal issue, it's an issue of the OP's feelings. What the hell are the chances of legal ramifications for that? Be realistic here, Guile.

First, Grats on coming to terms with being bi!

Second, From personal experience, I wouldn't reccoment trying to use chatrooms online for serious conversation; they're usually something closer to meat markets. But all the same, i'll look around.

Haha well yeah, they do tend to have that problem... But I do know that there are sites for people going through exactly what you are with being bi . TH is a good place to talk to people about it too!

Ok true, I may be taking it a bit seriously. If you want my advice you can talk to people here on TH, we have a great LBGT section that has some very nice people to talk to.

But to Guile it has nothing to do with my parents and i wouldnt be disobeying them with me being bi. Its really the town and how people just talk at my school about gay anything! My mom really just doesnt care what i am well at least i think! lol
But anyways thanks for helping out!
And if anyone can tell me some websites that would be great cause i would like to at least check out the SAFEST websites for teens to go on.
