is there women like that out there -
March 13th 2010, 05:27 AM
I have more of a question/rant. There was this goregous chick i messaged off of a dating site. She was interested until she found out I had a boyfriend. I keep getting told by a group on a website how wrong it is for that to happen that it gives bi a wrong wrap whatnot. I was also told it's wrong to use a dating site for that because it's not meant for people like me. So is what I"m doing okay? My boyfriends cool with it completely. I don't know if like that said the jealousy thing will kick in.

Hey Jennifer(:
There's nothing wrong at all with being bi, homosexual, or anything. And the internet is an open place, you can use dating sites if you want; they're there for anyone. The people who're telling you that don't own or represent that site, do they? So who cares what random people online want to tell you, because it's not about them. As for the boyfriend thing, I'd have a talk with him about it, to see how he really feels about you pursuing other people while in a relationship with him. It seems like he's rather open about it, so if that's how your relationship is, I don't see the problem. As for people saying that you give bis a bad rep, forget it. It's not as if you (or anyone) is a representative of the whole bi community, you're an individual; you do you. Goodluck, Peace & love, -Nev if i've ever learned anything, it's to be loved.
funny how accepting and allowing that can be so hard, when loving someone else can be so easy. the thing is, we accept exactly what we think we deserve, no matter what that may be. so i'm thinking it's time to change our mindsets; if we haven't yet figured out that we deserve the best, then it's certainly time. think about it ;] <3 love, Nev |

I'm learning to not care what other people think of me
. I think people made a big deal over it is what drives me bonkers. they had to get into the legal aspects of it. i know a lot of other women do it so i'm not doing anything wrong. As for the dating site shit they're nutso

Hey there,
I think that people are different and what they will and will not want to participate in is going to change from person to person. The fact that you have a boyfriend might put other people off because they are looking for a 'real' relationship and not just a fling. However there are going to be people that will be into it. As for what the people told you; that is just their personal opinion and personally I don't find anything wrong with it if your boyfriend and you have sat down and really talked about it. Don't be discouraged by other people's responses to what you are doing. Some people are going to look at it in a weird way and some people are not. With time you will grow used to it. The thing you have to remember is that you are living your life for you and no one else. Therefore, you have to do what makes YOU happy not what makes others happy. Best of luck, Jenna There could never be amore beautiful you
Don't buy the lies, disguisesandhoops they make you jump through You were made tofill a purposethat only you could do So there could never be amore beautiful you -Johnny Diaz Everyday is so wonderful And suddenly it's hard to breathe Now and then I get insecure From all the pain, I feel so ashamed I am beautiful no matter what they say Words can't bring me down I am beautiful in every single way Yes, words can't bring me down, oh no So don't you bring me down today To all your friends you're delirious So consumed in all your doom Tryin' hard to fill the emptiness, the piece is gone Left the puzzle undone, ain't that the way it is? 'Cause you are beautiful no matter what they say Words can't bring you down, oh no You are beautiful in every single way Yes, words can't bring you down, oh no So don't you bring me down today -Christina Aguilera |

I don't see why there would be anything wrong with that.
Especially if your boyfriend is fine with it. I could see if you dated a girl and a guy though that one might get jealous. But that still depends. To answer your question simply, what you were doing on the site was not wrong and those people need to chill out and stop worrying about what you do. Pansexual. Problematically Pierced. Disturbed and Depressed. And a Lost Realist. Got a question? I might just have an answer. Feel free to PM me. ![]() |
