Presentations(school) -
March 25th 2010, 05:31 PM
Heey everyone!
I am part of my schools GSA AND the Youth Project of Halifax, anyways. Our school is doing presentations(like we do every year) and I wanted to do some this year. I was just woundering if anyone else has done these? We're pretty much explaining what the GSA does, what we do, etc. We are presenting at the Jr. Highs and Elementary schools in the area. So I wanted to know if anyone else has ever done anything like this? I'm a little nervous because kids who graduated had issues with the Jr. high and were bullied after the presentation, untill they spoke up, or got the teacher. I am a little nervous at how the kids will react, but I really reallly REALLY want to do this. So any expieriences would be great. Remember, middle of no where, not very accepting.

Well, there's nothing like that where I love, but I just wanted to say that I think it's so cool you're doing something like that, and I wish you all the best. = ]
Nothing in the world is the way it ought to be. It's harsh, and cruel. But that's why there's us - champions. Doesn't matter where we come from, what we've done or suffered, or even if we make a difference. We live as though the world is as it should be, to show it what it can be. |
