Whats going on?

Ok so me and my best friend are really close. A couple weeks ago we started playing around and calling each other girlfriend.

Neither one of us have been big on the touchy feeley thing with anybody. But latley we'll like hold hands not for very long just like you know playing around and hitting our hands together and then we'll just hold hands for a couple minutes.

Also latley I'll like pat her leg or something like that and I never do that with anybody else.

We're always with each other, yesterday she was spending the night and she kind of like cuddled up to me.

Also we were messing around and took a test thats supposed to tell if your lesbian and we'd read the questions out loud one said have you ever thought about kissing a girl and she's like no well except for you so yeah.

I dont know what all of this means we're both straight.
Do you guys think somethings going on or that its all just playing around?

I ran some polls some time ago, both here and on another website, and the results were pretty consistent: more than half of females responding who identified themselves as straight reported having had some sort of sexual experience with a person of the same sex. About a third of males did, too.

So I don't think what you're feeling is at all unusual. I'd say that if you asked her if you could kiss her, it would be ok and open the door to your talking about it. I'm sure she's thought about it as well.

With situations like that, it's hard to tell. It could be just what it seems - two friends mucking around. Or it could be something more than that.
What I'd suggest is talking to her about it. It's obviously on your mind, so why not? Just tell her what you're thinking, how you're feeling, and see what she thinks and how she feels.
