Truth or Dare? - July 26th 2010, 04:01 AM

I went to my best friend's party the other night and everyone was having fun. We were drinking to celebrate her going off to college and turning 18 and stuff and I got really shit-faced.... I was just laughing a lot and goofing off with my friends and we started playing truth or dare. I was picked to make out with this girl in the circle and though nobody else knew it, I was bi. I had only admitted it to myself a few days before. So though I was completely drunk, I did it and laughed it off. I didn't even like the chick. Later in that same game someone told me to tell my deepest darkest secret and instead of keeping my fucking mouth shut, I yelled out 'I'm Bi!' and started cracking up. Half of the people in this circle didn't even really know me that well... But they know my friends. I already felt like shit because I have a bf and kissed someone else and now everyone knows my secret! Everyone was totally shocked and kept quiet for like a whole 5 minutes. The girl I kissed earlier was of course mortified and kind of freaked out a bit.... What the hell do I do now!?

Drawing on my fine command of the language, I said nothing.

Does you're bf mind if you kiss in truth or dare games? My girlfriend is totally fine with it. If he isn't, just explain it was a drunk situation.

And that girl has no right to be mortified. Truth or dare has you kissing people you may or may not like, that's part of the game, and this includes straight members of the opposite sex. Unless she refused to kiss any of the straight men upon a dare, if anyone mentions it, point out that you shouldn't play Truth or Dare if you can't deal with the game.

Also, if your friends say anything, point out you don't like her if its a deal for you. Unfortunately you can't really go back in the closet. So it's probably best for you to take hold of this situation, and make it yours.

explain to your boyfriend it was only truth or dare and meant nothing, etc. hopefully he'll be understanding. as for dealing with outing yourself.. well.. theres not much you can do other than waiting for everyone to stop talking about it. theres no point denying it now (not that you were thinking of it..) and if people are gunna make it in to a big deal then let them. there will soon be something else more interesting for people to gossip about.

..and our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears..

Thanks... My bf actually seemed not to care at all. I just said hey I kissed her and he said is that going to be a problem between us and when i said no he didn't seemed the least bit upset at all... I really should say no to playing truth or dare... especially when im drunk lol... Im in for it...
