Hey there,
So i have been friends with this girl since last year and we have gotten really close and became really good friends. We flirt on and off, but its like friend flirting ( or so i thought), so today she asked me if i purposely flirt with her or if its just something i do, and we started talking and had a conversation and everything, adn then she told me she is bi ( which i already knew, but she didnt know that i knew), i think of myself as a cross between pan and bi, anyways long story short she told me she liked me and i told her i liked her. So we have decided to try a relationship but also just to go with the flow and see what happens because we dont want to rush or end up ruining our friendship. So i guess my question/concern is, is that i've never been in a relationship with a girl, i mean im scared because of being hurt before but i am also really excited but i also want to make sure i actually have feelings for her?? so i dont know, its kinda just a ramble but any thoughts/advice/ideas would be greatly appreciated

Relationships with the same sex are not as stressful as opposite sex, but that's just my opinion. Don't rush anything especially if you or her are new at everything. Remember that all girls get the PMS stage every month. Normally girls get extremely moody so whenever it's happening just stay calm and that's about it.

Relationships with girls aren't too different from relationships with guys. Remember to keep your communication open. As for making sure you have feelings for her, go with the flow, like you said. Pay attention to how you're feeling. It's normal to feel a little awkward at the start of a relationship, but don't let them get you thinking that you definitely don't have feelings for her. If this is your first time with a girl especially, you can expect some discomfort in the beginning.

But listen to what your mind and body are telling you. Don't rush into anything that you aren't comfortable with. As you said, you want to see how it goes. Don't be afraid to express any concerns you may have to your girlfriend, either. You want to make this experience a pleasant one for the both of you, and communication plays an active role in ensuring that.
