I think I have a date?

I recently, about a few hours ago, posted about a kid I knew in high school and had a slight crush on texted me questioning my sexuality. Well turns out he wants to hook up with me and I have no idea what to do. Not only would it be my first gay experience it would be with someone who to me was the Popular Jock with a girlfriend. I don't know if it is a set up, a bad prank, or what. What should I do? Should I go and meet him or should I blow it off?

I would go with what your heart says, how well did you know him? Does he seem like the type that would do something like that as a prank?

And a good way to go into this if you do decide to meet up with him is to treat it as just an experience, and if during it you truly begin to trust him, I would then fully open up your trust and soul.

Haha it makes sense thank you. I don't think he would be that type. If so he went through A LOT of effort. He basically said he wants to try something with a guy and I'm the one he chose and I want to try something with a guy so it kind of works for both of us. And my heart tells me to go. But i still am nervous.

Its only natural to be nervous, especially since this is your first experience. I say that if your heart says go for it, and you trust this guy, then go for it!

If this is something that you want to do then I think you should go for it. I think it's much better to go into a situation and know the outcome rather than to spend the rest of your life thinking "what if this had happened?" or "what if that had happened?". It's totally normal to be nervous and everything considering that this is your first time and all but I'm sure that he'll be nervous too so you're both in the same boat, nobody has the advantage. Well I feel I should keep everyone updated. Turns out he had to reschedule, but we mentioned it a few times and each time nothing. I asked him if what he said the night before was real or a joke and he said he wouldn't say something he doesnt mean. But yet i see him on Facebook saying how much he loves his girlfriend and wouldnt want to live with out her. Do i have the right to feel hurt? I mean the night before he was saying how he wants me and wants me to undress him and just wants to go crazy with me. and now its like I don't exist. I asked him if he was just curious or maybe gay/bi and he said "curious" nothing more nothing less an that was the last i heard from him.

It sounds like he is curious and he does want to do things with you but he means to hookup with you and cheat on his gf in the process. I went through a similar situation with a guy recently. You need to look inside yourself and figure out what it is that you want to do. If you're okay with being a secret hookup, go for it! It's pretty fun actually. ;P But if you're going to be expecting more from him ((more that he probably won't give you - meaning a relationship)), you might as well jump ship now. You don't want to end up hurt in the end and it sounds like he intends on staying with his gf whether you two hookup or not. Do what's best for Sam.

Well, I came to terms that I wanted to do it. I was willing to be the dirty little secret. I wanted to thrill of possible getting caught. Even for a night. And I was willing to accept the fact that it was gonna be a one time no strings attached thing. But not I haven't heard from him since. And it's killing me.

The things he sent me and the things we said are not things you say just as a one time thing and then drop it. I wonder if I scared him off, did I not seem as willing, or did he change his mind. I feel like I had been dumbed via text message with no explanation. All I want is an explanation. Am I crazy?

No you're not crazy. He may have changed his mind. Or chickened out. I mean, if it's him exploring his possibilities, he's not exactly gonna be rushing into it. Txt him first and see what happens. If nothing, you can do nothing but move on.

I agree with Anthony! Maybe he's nervous or scared for what he is going to do. Which is normal for what he's going through. Try talking to him about what's going on, and just move on from there.

Thank guys for the help and support. But I hate to say I think it's over. I eventually couldn't take anymore of the waiting game so I texted him and was like "The otehr night you put a lot out there. Not that I mind but how are you holding up" and he told me he is living as if nothing happened. I thought closure would be the thing I needed but i think it hurts worse.

And thank you! Because of this situation and because of her I think I found my "Judas"

I'm sorry that it didn't work out for you. It sounds like this guy is confused himself, and perhaps scared. But with that said, it's completely understandable why you'd feel hurt here. This guy got your hopes up and then backed out at the last minute. It isn't anything against you, so try not to take it personally. I know things are difficult right now; take your time to grieve and be upset about this. When you're ready, get yourself back out there. Keep your chin up and keep trying. You will find someone.
