Unhappy Weird - April 16th 2011, 03:59 PM

Um...Hi

I had a similar thread to this before, but... this is just something which I think is really strange.

So, I've been coming to terms with the fact that i'm definitely not heterosexual. I've started to think of myself as bi, but the more I think about it, the more I doubt it. I've started having strange dreams of me coming out as a lesbian...Is my sub-conscience trying to tell me something? I'm not even sure if I used that in the right context lol.

I don't hate myself for liking girls, but I hate myself for not knowing! It's so frustrating!

The fact that I don't know is just getting me down again ¬_¬

In all honesty, I think that if Society wasn't so harsh on gay people, and that religion stopped brainwashing people into thinking that all gays are going to hell, no-one would doubt their sexuality. I think it's just purely worrying about everyone else's outlook on you.

Even if I did come out as a lesbian, I'm worried about losing friends. I only know that a few of my friends would be alright about it because one of them is against homophobia, whilst the other friend has a lesbian elder sister.

This is so annoying o_O" I wish the answer could just come up to me and hit me in the damn face.

Anyway, sorry for ranting. Just had to get it off my chest ¬_¬"
(I'm pretty sure half of what I said made no sense, Haha )

Hey Emma,

What you said did make sense. It can frustrating to not know what your sexuality is! Understand that it is normal to need some time to figure it out, however, and try not to get too down on yourself. It's okay to be unsure! A lot of people are. It's not your fault and I'm sure the answer will come to you with time.

Regarding your dream, I can't say for sure that it's your subconscious trying to tell you something. It could be, or it could be the fact that this is a topic that has been weighing heavily on your mind, thus coming out in your dreams. Either way, it seems that this is very important to you. You say you're worried about losing friends, which I can relate to as it's something I've worried about when coming out to people in the past. It's fantastic that you have two friends you know would be okay with it. How about the others? Do you know for sure they're homophobic, or do you not know their opinions yet? If you don't know their opinions, you could try bringing it up casually in conversation. For example, "Did you participate in the Day of Silence? What do you think of the meaning behind it?" or "What do you think about gay marriage?"

I hope this helps a bit! Like I said, it's okay to be unsure of your sexuality. I know it's frustrating, but hang in there!

The more i thought about it the more i doubted it .. But then i relized that i had nothing to worry about.

If you're Bi ... You simply are. You cant change your sexuality. And lol .... Its nothing wrong ^^

More and more people are accepting the LGBTQ Community. I doubt you would lose friends over your sexuality, but in some extreme cases it does happen. I would suggest finding friends that you know would not leave you based on something as miniscule as loving someone of the same gender.

You are at that age where you start to realize who you are, we all go through it and we all question our sexuality. Some people like me figured out who I was at a very young age, others take a long time to realize who they are. It is perfectly normal.

Satanism is not a white light religion; it is a religion of the flesh, the mundane, the carnal - all of which are ruled by Satan, the personification of the Left Hand Path.

"Love those who deserve your love, instead of love wasted on ingrates!"

"If a man smite thee on one cheek, smash him on the other!"

"It's too bad stupidity isn't painful."
