Alright guys,

I need your help here. I am with the same guy that I have been with for 2.5 years, I love him but I do not know that I am in love with him. I broke up with him in December and I thought he was going to kill himself. I had alot of figuring out to do for myself. In the time we were apart I came out as Bisexual. We got back together on Valentines day. I just do not feel into him the same way as I did. I don't wanna hurt him though, as a matter of fact if anyone gets hurt here I would perfer it be me. He asked me If I would have sex with him and I wanna but I don't. I am so afraid that If I do I will realise that I am lesbian and actually not into penises and boys at all like I fear I am. am I lesbian or confused or what? Help please.

You are in no position to become sexually involved right now. In fact, I don't think you're in any position to be in a relationship right now. Sometimes, as much as you might want to be with someone, it's best that you step back and stay out of it and figure things out first. Talk to him and let him know that you need time to figure some things out. Once you're certain, you can make a decision from there.

I tried that, I can't even "take a break" he almost killed himself last time I tried that one.

First off, let's not focus on labels. Let's focus on feelings. The most important question here should be: how do you feel towards your boyfriend? Do you want to be with him? If your feelings have changed, and/or you don't want to be with him, then that's your answer.

Take some time and think about it. All things considered, would you rather be with him or not? It might help to write down your feelings and thoughts, or discuss them with someone. You have to do what's right for you here, and it may involve him getting hurt, but you can't go through life without ever upsetting, hurting, or offending anyone, right?

If you're confused about your sexuality, could you talk to your boyfriend about it? He'll probably be understanding, and support you through this, whatever you decide. And if you do realise you're gay, then there's nothing wrong with that - it's just who you are, and that's fine.

You shouldn't stay with him because you feel obgliated to. If the only/main reason you're with him is because you feel that if you end the relationship, he's going to do something to himself, then it's not a good relationship to be in. You should talk to someone about it - someone older than you, someone who can help. It shouldn't be your duty to stay with him so he stays alive.

I agree. You need to talk to your boyfriend about how you're feeling. If he really loves you, he'll understand and help you figure things out. And also talk to other people who have been through what you've been through and get some advice from them.
