Needing a little help... - September 21st 2011, 08:24 PM

I'm an 18 year old male, and the only thing im needing a little help with is me questioning my sexuality. I wouldnt call me gay or bi-sexual, but there is instances where I believe myself to maybe try and be with a guy and see if I have a different view then I do with girls. I do love being with women and I like to check them out and flirt, but there are times when i will check out guys and/or have homoerotic thoughts about being with them. It feels like a part of me is very very curious but i dont know how to tell for sure. Also my family is really open but when it comes to gay/lesbian they tend to comically turn it down, i dont think they necessarily seem that its bad, just something they wouldnt want to deal with. I just need help if someone had ever or is currently going through the same ordeal I am.

It seems like you're just curious and honestly, that's normal. I think you should experiment with your curiousity. You don't need to label yourself as "gay" or "bi" or anything for that matter. You are attracted to who you're attracted to. It shouldn't absolutely need a label. As for your family, if you decide to label yourself and decide to let them in on it.. then sit them down and explain that you can't control who you like and if they don't like it, then so be it but not to treat you any differently. I understand how hard it is. I'm a girl but I am attracted to girls too and I have a very homophobic sister and mother who say it's "disgusting" for the same sex couples to kiss or hold hands. It gets very aggravating and it disgusts me that they talk like that! If you ever need to talk, feel free to PM me. Hope I helped a little. xx

Thanks for the help! I really just needed some guidance and some input from someone who has experienced this kinda thing, guy or girl! I have thought about exploring my curiosity many times in fact. There is a guy who last year recently told me he was Bi and thought I was cute and asked if I ever thought about being with a man. I dishonestly told him no. The reason for it was that I was a little skeptical and scared at the image it would put out of me. I know I shouldnt care what people think and I usually don't at all give a hoot what they might ponder in their minds, but this kinda thing is a make it or break it situation you know? I'm glad that things in your life are turning great even though your sister and mother are against your views which I think is, if you dont mind me saying, close-minded. You obviously have found a way to sort this thing out and I envy that factor you have. If I could, with your permission of course, be able to message you and have you talk to me one-on-one to get your full side and mine as well?

If you're particularly interested in a label, heteroflexible might be something to consider. It's just what it sounds like: primarily interested in the opposite sex, but flexible and not limiting.

Heteroflexible I would call you. You primarily identify with women, but have limited homosexual activity. Or you're just curious at this stage.

Satanism is not a white light religion; it is a religion of the flesh, the mundane, the carnal - all of which are ruled by Satan, the personification of the Left Hand Path.
