Hello all you pansexuals!

Was just curious to who on here calls themselves a pansexual?

Do you find yourself dating more males or females?

When people ask what a pansexual is how do you explain it to them?

I have considered myself a pansexual for about a year. I was "bi" but this seems to suit me better.

I tend to date more males, but I generally crush on females.

Personally I consider myself pansexual - I don't tell many people, but to those I do I generally say that I could fall in love with any person, whether man, woman, transgender or no gender or anything... It doesn't really matter, as long as the person is awesome
I am not dating at the moment because I'm just not in the right mental state, however in the past, I have dated more guys than girls and that's it. At the moment I find girls more attractive but this changes but to be honest, I'm not finding myself sexually attracted to anyone.

Well I'm pansexual and the way I describe that to others is, it's like bisexuality but I don't care what gender and that involves trans, and no gender or bigender even, etc... Pretty much anyone regardless of how they identify themselves gender wise. I have dated more guys even though I find myself more physically attracted to women. It takes very special guys to get me if we were just talking physical appearance alone.

Although I'm not pansexual, my friend always tells people that she's pansexual because gender should never matter, and bisexuality limits gender.

I didn't even answer my own third question.

But same as most people. I find being bi is more limiting or even more physically based? I dunno. When I was bi dating females I found it was all sexual. When I then dated girls as a pansexual it was more feeling based.

But with pansexual you can go for guys, girls, no-gender, transgenders, and for me I find myself very attracted to cross dressers cause it's like a fun twist on both! Not that it's a gender...just saying.

In general pansexuals are just more open, and more open to loving everyone. =)

i think i'm a pan. if you have to tell someone what it is just tell them you love them, and like being around them for who they are and not what they are.

I generally date more males, but right now I'm hardcore in love with a girl.
When people ask what pansexual means, I tell them "Not a single fuck was given about whats in someone's pants." Then they say "Thats bisexual." then I'm like "Thats assuming there is a gender binary. There are more than two genders. Theres male, female, intersexed, people who don't identify with either, people who identify with both, and people who are like me and are fluid. Gender and sex aren't the same thing. Sex is male or female, gender is how you feel."

Well I am a pansexual! and I find myself more attracted to women then men, I'm probably 95% "lesbian" and 5% "straight", I find very few men attractive and when I do find the attractive they look very feminine or I already began to like them before I seen what they looked like. But I am with a male right now and plan on marrying him 8/20/13 <3

When I explain it to people I generally tell them something along the lines of "well it's like bisexual only bisexuals will only date females and males while pansexuals are willing to date females, males, transgenders and he-shes." or at least I try to stick to what the TH LBGPT dictionary says and I tell them that I love people based on that person not based on their gender.
