Re: Flirting with older woman! Need advice! -

I also have a tendency to take interest in older people. Lots of people seem to do date older people. I guess i'd just take it really slow... Find out who she is before you start investing in the relationship too much. I've always found it kind of weird when people who are very much adults take interest in people who are just becoming one. I've heard many people argue that it can work out if you have a lot of common interests. I'd just make sure she doesn't try and take advantage of you or anything.
"Setting boundaries is not a more sophisticated way of manipulation - although some people will say they are setting boundaries, when in fact they are attempting to manipulate. The difference between setting a boundary in a healthy way and manipulating is: when we set a boundary we let go of the outcome."
You shut your mouth How can you say I go about things the wrong way I am Human and I need to be loved Just like everybody else does |

I think that as long as you're both consenting adults and no one is uncomfortable about the age difference, then there isn't a problem. I had a girlfriend who was 9 years older than me... And the reason we are no longer together has nothing to do with the age difference.
If you're both happy, then I don't see a problem.

You're 19 and an adult. It doesn't matter how much older she is than you. If you're both attracted to each other then that's all that's important. Now go for it.
What just happened?

You are not along in dating older people; I've dated someone who was 27 when I was 19 and someone who was 37 when I was 19. I've been sexually attracted to people of all ages, some of them in their sixties. So you are not alone.
The way I see it, she likes you and you like her. There's not anything standing in your way except your own fear. If you can master that fear, and overcome it, you could take a chance to make something great. So don't be scared; just go for it. We are YOUNG
We are STRONG We're not looking for where we belong We're not cool We ARE FREE And we're running with blood on our knees! ~ * ~ FORMERLY KNOWN AS SUPERSTAR ~ * ~ |
