Advice please

Hi peoples. I would like your advice please.

There is ths guy who i like. He's amazing, we been friends for years and all that crap. I began to realise that I like him more as a friend though, but am not sure how to ask him. any advice. For the record though, I'm very shy around him and will freeze up.

Well If you would freeze up and you know for a fact that it will happen, then I would talk to him Via Text or something online. Maybe start flirting with him. If he flirts back than its looking good - but if he doesn't then chances are he doesn't like you - but atleast you know how he feelings without actually asking him if he likes you.

I'm personally a people person, and I love to flirt in person - but I have also flirted over text and in most cases you can figure out if the other person likes you back by flirting with them.

Either that or you can just ask him straight up if he likes you.

Do you know if he likes you back? This is something you need to determine before you go telling him that you like him. If you aren't sure, and tell him, it could make things extremely awkward between the two of you or could ultimately end up ruining the relationship for good.

Once this is determined, I would try speaking to him online or via text. Talking about these things on another realm will help you talk to him in person. It's easy to become shy around people you like, it's just something you have to work on NOT doing.

I realised that I should've added that I do flirt with him. I flirt with him when we're alone in public, and I've even cuddled with him before during movie and he didn't mind, until we heard the door move hinting to his parents coming.

Well from what you've said, it does sound like he may be interested as well. Really, the best thing you can do is to just tell him how you feel. Its scary yes, but if he feels the same you will be so glad you spoke up.

I agree just ask him tell him. What's the worst that could happen? If he's not interested just move on.

The last bit I forgot to add. My parents hate any form of homosexuality, and as such, will kill me if they find out I asked him out. So I need to be careful, but I don't think he's the type to tell everyone.

Ok I took your advice and sent him a message through Facebook. Unromantic I know, but it's the best I can do without freezing up.
